Circular dichroism in magnetic imaging with MOKE and scanning NV center

Young-Gwan Choi is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ulsan, South Korea. He received his Ph.D. in Energy Science from Sungkyunkwan University in 2023. Before joining the University of Ulsan in 2025, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids in Dresden, Germany. His research focuses on magnetic microscopy and quantum sensing using nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond to investigate nanoscale magnetic textures and their dynamics. He also studies spin and orbital transport using magneto-optical techniques.
