Presentation title
Dipolar stabilized skyrmions and antiskyrmions in ferro- and ferrimagnetic multilayers
Sabri Koraltan completed his undergraduate studies and PhD at the University of Vienna under the supervision of Prof. Dieter Suess. His main scientific achievements are the development of magnetic field sensors enabled by spin-orbit torques and the co-discovery of dipolar stabilized higher order skyrmions and antiskyrmions. After a short fellowship (6 months) in Germany in the group of Prof. Manfred Albrecht, he will join the group of Prof. Amalio Fernandez-Pacheco in October 2024. His main interests are large scale micromagnetic simulations and experimental realization of novel functional devices in sensing, storage, and computing applications based on skyrmionic and magnonic systems.
