Associate Professor Michelle Jamer received her PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from Northeastern University in 2015. She then went onto a NRC postdoctoral position at the NIST Center for Neutron Research. After starting at the Naval Academy in 2018, she has studied a variety of magnetic materials that have a unique spin structure.
