Presentation title
Seeded spin-orbit torque in non-collinear antiferromagnet
I obtained my Ph.D. in experimental condensed matter physics from the School of Physics, University of Hyderabad, in 2018. After Ph.D., I worked as a post-doctoral fellow with Prof. Stuart Parkin at the Max Planck Institute for Microstructure Physics in Germany until July 2023. After that, I joined as an assistant professor in the Department of Physics at IIT Guwahati, India, in August 2023. My research interests focus on spintronics devices based on intermetallic and oxide thin films. A few significant works include (i) Quantum correction of enhanced electron-electron Coulomb interaction to the anomalous Hall effect in Co2FeSi; (ii) Discovery of seeded spin-orbit-torque in Mn3Sn/W; (iii) Interface-generated out-of-plane torque in Mn3Sn/Py; and (iv) Long-range supercurrent in Mn3Ge/Nb thin films. Recently, I was honored as an Inspire faculty fellow by DST, India (2023-2028) and appointed as the head of the Max Planck partner group (2024-2029) between MPI Halle and IITG.
